As part of their strategy to strengthen energy security,India's leading oil and gas companies are preparing to become major biofuels producers and suppliers in the coming years.The Petroleum Ministry,which is coordinating the programme,has set an ambitious target for biodiesel and biofuels to eventually meet 20% of India's diesel demand.
