There are plenty of wrecks that offer fantastic diving in Mounts Bay, Cornwall, but in late July, eight of us had other things on our minds. We were part of a Seasearch volunteer team surveying the eelgrass beds lying at the perimeter of the bay. Eelgrass is a rare and fascinating habitat, and we were there to map the extent of the beds. It's always fun diving in unusual places, because there's often the chance of finding something new - many of us were hoping to see that most elusive of UK marine creatures, the seahorse.
