SAUDI ARABIA:Aramco and ConocoPhillips to delay Yanbu refinery project

Saudi Aramco and ConocoPhillips said they will halt the bidding process associated with the construction of their planned 400,000 b/d export-oriented oil refinery at the Yanbu Industrial City in Saudi Arabia.Citing uncertainties in the financial and contracting markets,the companies said they have postponed contract bids to be submitted in the second quarter of 2009 from December 2008.
