Power generation and transmission company Alstom Grid and Capgemini -provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services - have joined forces to pursue cloud-based smart grid solutions. Together, the two companies will launch the industry's first cloud-based Integrated Distribution Management Systems (IDMS) and a new cloud-based Demand Response Management System (DRMS).
