Sureline steel power poles shine in corrosion tests

Accelerated corrosion testing of sections of BlueScope Steel's Sureline steel power poles has demonstrated the effectiveness of their in-ground protective coatings. The tests, conducted by BlueScope Steel's Australian Manufacturing Markets (AMM) Technical Services unit, produced results similar to those recorded by independent Canadian researchers. BlueScope Steel has developed the Sureline hot dipped galvanised steel power pole system as an alternative to traditional systems. It offers significant cost, transport, handling and lifespan advantages.
