Chinese property sales to drop in 3Q16: UBS

Swiss banking group UBS predicts property sales in China to have slightly increased in the second quarter compared with the frst, but expects slower economic growth to affect sales for the remainder of the year. The bank expects that adjustments in credit policy from the People’s Bank of China will be implemented at a “nor- malised pace” after the second quarter, and that industrial production activity will slow. The use of policy to ease credit fows peaked in the frst half of the year, and will continue to slow heading into 2017, UBS said in a recent report.
