Conocophillips seeks us court order on citgo sale

US independent ConocoPhillips is seeking a Texas court order to determine the status of Venezuela's state-owned PdV's proposed sale of its US refining subsidiary and whether the transaction could interfere with potential damages Venezuela owes the company. The US exploration and production company this week sought legal discovery from PdV of the status of and assets involved in a potential Citgo sale. Citgo, based in Houston, Texas, had not yet filed a legal response. A company representative could not be reached for comment.
