This contract is the largest deal TUSC has won in its 25-year history, and the first major deal won by its recently formed Workforce Management Solutions business unit. Scoping work has already commenced, and the implementation phase is expected to be completed by the end of the year. According to Energex field force automation project director Darryl Steven, the new system will streamline the entire way the organisation does business in the field. "FAA will provide significant logistical advantages in each step of the power network construction, maintenance and restoration process by improving the productivity and efficiency of our field staff through smart job allocation and team dispatching procedures," Mr Steven says.
