It encompasses all aspects of confined space - rescue/retrieval, entry/exit, material handling and fall arrest. The system not only serves as a safety barrier around the pit; it also offers fall arrest, work positioning and material handling capabilities (via davit arm attachment). The system elements are interchangeable with other DBI-SALA sysstems to make pit work easier, faster and more productive. The system utilises in-ground anchor supports fitted to the surrounds of the pit that enable a bayonet and pole to be fitted at each corner.
