For all of us in the industry - material and component suppliers, transformer and reactor manufacturers, power companies and their customers - it is important that we can rely on the existing specifications. Transformers and; reactors out of service mean problems for all of us - failure of critical installations can have serious consequences. Up to now only a few transformers and reactors have been affected and these are mostly highly loaded, with closed conservators and unvarnished copper conductors.
