Transend general manager network Mike Hunnibell said that the redeveloped transmission system would help to increase the reliability of the electricity transmission service in north-east Tasmania. "The program of work involves redeveloping the three substations that serve the area - Norwood, Scottsdale and Derby - and building a new 110kV transmission line between the substations to replace the existing 88kV line," Mr Hunnibell said.
