Power supplies for mining projects

ETSA Utilities will provide fit-for-purpose connections specifically for the environment and expected life of the deposits being mined. Network connections can be arranged at any voltage and 'build-own-operate' (BOO) arrangements are available for connections up to, and including, 132kV. As an example, ETSA Utilities recently began constructing a new transmission line for OneSteel at Whyalla in South Australia for the expansion of the company's Iron Duke Mine. ETSA Utilities will provide a 132kV substation and 12km line connection into the existing Electranet transmission network.
