Network regulation reform is needed, particularly around managing peak demand periods, according peak demand periods, according to Energy Networks Association (ENA) CEO Malcolm Roberts. Speaking at the Australian Energy and Utility Summit in July, Mr Roberts joned presenters in discussing the ramifications the carbon tax will have on the energy sector; rising transmission, distribution and retail costs; and renewable energy resouce opportunities.
