CitiPower and Powercor Australia, Jemena, and United Energy have connected more than one million customers to their Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program. Network platform and solutions provider for smart energy networks, Silver Spring Networks, is providing the standards-based IPv6 networking platform, software and services to support the rollout of the Victorian Government's AMI. Consumers are starting to access their energy usage information online to receive reliable reads.
