From bioenergy to cogeneration, photovoltaics to wind turbines, Australia's renewable energy landscape is evolving at a rapid pace. The government is investing record amounts into 'green energy' technology and projects, while at the same time managing a period of significant change with the implemention of the carbon tax in July. Amid the change and progress, Australia's peak body representing the country's clean energy sector has also welcomed a new CEO. Slipping quietly into his post in mid-July, the new Clean Energy Council (CEC) CEO David Green comes to the position with a wealth of experience, however, this new role is his first position on Australian soil.
