Hill 60 power station a success thanks to deutz gas engines

It has been 12 months since the Hill 60 Power Station was commissioned and reports to date are extremely positive with engine performance achieving efficiency and reliability expectations of Energy Generation Pty Ltd (enGen). More than 6MW of rated site power comprised of five Deutz TCG2020V16K natural gas generating sets was installed by enGen in January 2006 to displace diesel generating capacity for Harmony Gold's mining operations at Mt Magnet in Western Australia. The power station is owned and operated by enGen with service and parts support from Deutz Australia specialist gas service personnel based close to site in Geraldton and around Australia.
