Noranda Aluminum finds frst fat-rolled bidder

Swedish aluminium sheet producer Granges has agreed to be the stalking horse bidder for Noranda Aluminum’s fat-rolled business in a deal that values the assets at $302.5mn. The agreement with Granges sets the minimum price that the fat-rolled assets will be sold for in a court-supervised auc- tion intended to generate the highest possible bid.
