Phillips 66 increased its run of heavy Canadian crude during the first nine months of 2012 to 10pc of its total slate, a 3pc increase from the average for all of 2011. The new coking capacity at Wood River, Illinois, helped to increase the volume of heavy crude Phillips 66 can process.
