In order to reduce noise pollution and air emissions,the use of mobile ore preparation equipment instead of a truck-and-shovel mining system will be utilized at Suncor Energy Inc.'s proposed 4.4-billion Voyageur South expansion project,which targets production of approximately 120,000 barrels of bitumen a day beginning between 2011 and 2013,the company explained in submitting the project to regulators in late July.
