摘要

A 52-year-old woman came to our attention due to abdominal pain, a pancreatic mass with multiple liver lesions and peritoneal nodules at CT scan, and increased chromogranin A values. A pancreatic biopsy demonstrated a neuroendocrine tumor with G2 grading (NET G2) [1]. Therefore, the patient underwent both fluorine-18-fmor-odeoxyglucose (F-18-FDG) PET/CT which studies the glucose metabolism and Gallium-68-somatostatin analogs (Ga-68-DOTANOC) PET/CT which evaluate the somato-statin receptor expression. Both PET/CT methods showed increased uptake corresponding to a pancreatic mass, multiple liver lesion, and peritoneal nodules (Fig. 1). Nevertheless some abdominal lesions took up only one tracer, whereas other abdominal lesions took up both tracers.
