NZ ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS CONFERENCE ATTRACTS STRONG INDUSTRY SUPPORT

The New Zealand Electricity Engineers' Association (EEA) 2010 conference in June saw over 60 presentations from national and international speakers, 600 delegates, visitors and exhibitors, 99 trade exhibitors and tightly contested award presentations. The forum saw discussion concerning leadership and innovation challenges faced by the New Zealand electricity supply industry. "Leadership and innovation in electricity supply engineering is essential to addressing climate change, sustainable energy options and society's current and future expectations around electricity delivery, use and management," EEA president Bob Simpson said.
