Are you ready to report against The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act?

Applicable Australian corporations will be required to report on their emissions and energy production and consumption for the 2008/2009 financial year. Registrations under the Act open in July 2008 and reports must be submitted by October 2009. The first year reporting requirements apply to the following: facilities emitting more than 25 kt of greenhouse gases or using or producing more than 100 terajoules of energy; and a number of smaller facilities operated by corporations emitting more than 125 kt in total of greenhouse gases or using or producing more than 500 terajoules of energy.
