Taipower to take frst Colombian coal

Taiwanese state-owned utility Taipower has bought its frst Colombian thermal coal cargo in a tender, for delivery in June- October. Japanese trading house Itochu, which has held a 20pc stake in Colombian frm Drummond’s domestic operations since June 2011, will supply 80,000t.
