Iranian oil fields may be capable of “a swift production boost” following the lifting of US and EU nuclear-related sanctions against the country, because having them shut down may have allowed pressure to rise, the IEA said on 19 January. But Iran will face marketing challenges given significant over-supply in the world, the energy watchdog said.
