MALAYSIA:KIC unveils US350 million petroleum hub in Johor state,expansion plans in Southeast Asia

Malaysia's privately owned KIC Group is looking to significantly expand its petroleum storage,trading and blending operations in Southeast Asia,building on the success of its domestic operations.In less than three years,the company has grown to become specialists in terminal operations,transportation and the trading of petroleum products.In Singapore last month,it celebrated the first anniversary of its takeover of the oil storage and distribution operations at West Port in Klang in West Malaysia from FAMM,the marine fuels trading subsidiary of US major Chevron.
