Students, school leavers and skilled workers seeking a fresh start had a chance to view one of the largest and longest running apprenticeship programs in NSW. EnergyAustralia held its 2010 Apprentice Open Days at the Silverwater Training Centre on 19 and 26 June ahead of its 2011 recruitment in July. This year marks 100 years of training apprentices at EnergyAustralia, with more than 4000 apprentice line workers, electrical mechanics, cable jointers and motor mechanics joining the company since 1910.
