China's non-ferrous growth slows in May

The growth in China's production of non-ferrous metals slowed in May, data from the country’s national statistics bureau show. Production totalled 4.36mn t in May, an increase of 1pc from the year-ago period. But that growth rate was below the 1.7pc increase recorded in April and 4.4pc rise in March.
