Prime Minister John Howard recently presented Preformed Line Products (PLP) Australia with the AEEMA Excellence in Export 2002 Award. The award was received at the annual AEEMA (Australian Electrical Electronic Manufacturers Association) gala awards evening held at the Technology Centre Redfern Sydney. The presentation was made to PLP Australia managing director Norman Windell and Asia manager Raymond Daly. Mr Howard congratulated Mr Windell and his workforce on an excellent achievement in very competitive export markets. PLP Australia designs and manufacturers an extensive range of hardware fittings and accessories for the power and communication cable industries.
