Clough Limited recently announced that its offshore division has been awarded a contract in excess of 100 million Australia dollars for the Hazira Gas Project, located in the Bay of Cambay on the west coast of India for operator Niko Resources of Canada and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd (GSPC). "The Hazira project is another major contract for the Clough Group and particularly the offshore division. India's oil and gas expansion plans for the future are very promising and Clough is committed to assist India in its expansion plans," Clough Limited managing director Dr Brian Hewitt said.
