The right asset management system

Most of the companies in the energy sector have already a form of "Asset Management Program" placed. But how is it possible to demonstrate stakeholders and investors that the organisation has a method of protecting and maximising benefits from its assets? PAS 55 Certification can show why and how business intentions are converted into on-the-ground reality of what, where and when will be done. Many plant owners and operators use "Asset Management" to describe activities regarding the selection, maintenance, inspection and replacement/ renewal of the physical plants, equipment, infrastructure and its associated facilities. Asset management plays a key role in determining the operational performance and profitability of industries and requires right decisions for optimising processes. The asset management system should guide and validate an organisation's activities towards an overall goal of correct asset use.
