Citgo shut a portion of a gasoline-producing unit on 1 October for maintenance at its 165,000 b/d refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas. The refiner reported emissions from a regenerator on a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit continuing for six hours, according to a filing to state environmental regulators. “The unit is currently in a turndown operating mode for the maintenance activities,” the company said in a filing.
