NCRA prepares for more coke output

Local regulators approved plans for a rail siding subdivision late last month to allow more petroleum coke to ship from National Cooperative Refining Association’s (NCRA) 81,000 b/d McPherson, Kansas, refinery once a new coker comes on line. The cooperative is still working with BNSF on final plans but is close to starting the project, NCRA said.
