摘要

The 130,000 b/d Co-op refinery complex in Regina, Saskatchewan, has declared force majeure on heavy crudes and expects to run a lighter slate following an explosion and fire over the Christmas week that shut four units. The refinery was running at 60,000 b/d a week after the accident, but throughputs could ramp back up to around 90,000 b/d by mid-January. This total will feature a combination of crudes, but will likely only include about 30,000 b/d of heavy crude because of gasoil limitations. The refinery had been running 55,000 b/d of heavy crude before the accident.
