Ernst & Young optimistic for oil and gas sector

Oil and gas merger-and-acquisition (M&A) cases rose 50% last year while initial public offering (IPO) activity is rebounding on the back of a strong increase in oil demand, the second largest in 30 years, providing a favourable outlook for 2011, said Ernst & Young (E&Y).
