Thermal coal prices for delivery to Turkey inched higher last week, tracking a small gain in the price of coal delivered to northwest Europe. Argus assessed the price of mixed-origin coal delivered to Turkey at $51.35/t cif Iskenderun — up by 41￠/t on the week. Turkish prices tracked a small rise in the price of coal on a cif Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) basis, with prompt swaps gaining by around 50￠/t on the week.
