Heads of state gather to hash out climate deal

The UN climate talks in Paris began on 30 November with over 150 heads of state delivering statements and China and the US reaffirming their commitment to reaching a deal. The heads of state from six governments - France, Chile, Ethiopia, Germany, Mexico and Canada - called for a global price on carbon pollution at the Conference of the Parties (Cop 21).
