ExxonMobil considers Antwerp coker addition

ExxonMobil is developing a plan to add a 50,000 b/d delayed coker to its 246,000 b/d Antwerp refinery to maximise the production of high-value light fuels. ExxonMobil will decide whether to commission the project in the second or third quarter of this year, the company said. It is evaluating the investment following the success of a 62,000 b/d diesel hydrotreater it added to its Singapore refinery last year.
