phillips 66 to add railcars, grow west supply

Phillips 66 will expand its rail fleet to handle 60,000 b/d more crude and add third-party agreements for west coast refinery supply. The US independent refiner bought 1,200 general purpose rail tanker cars for receipt beginning this summer through early 2015, boosting rail-delivery capacity via the company- owned fleet to 160,000 b/d, it said.
