Tesoro CEO says US regulations threaten refiners

President Barack Obama’s administration is waging an “all-out war” on fossil fuels through new rules that threaten the oil and gas sector, Tesoro’s chief executive offcer Gregory Goff said. US oil and gas companies have had to reduce air pollution, produce cleaner-burning gasoline and blend more biofuel into the fuel supply under new federal regulations. The Obama administration is also moving to eventually limit methane leaks as part of its efforts to meet ambitious goals to reduce green- house gas emissions.
