Coke prices drop, year-end stocks eyed

Petroleum coke prices dropped in most major markets during October, with refiners discounting end-of-year tonnage in anticipation of significant new supply in 2013. October was busy, with some cement producers locking in remaining requirements for fourth-quarter supply.
