Opec sees higher call on its crude by 2020

Opec sees the 2020 call on its crude 1.7mn b/d higher than projected last year, as the lower oil price environment is boosting global demand while investment cuts are putting pressure on non-Opec supply. In its World Oil Outlook (WOO) 2015 reference case scenario, Opec sees the 2020 call on its crude at 30.7mn b/d. It expects non-Opec liquids supply to reach 60.2mn b/d in 2020, an increase from 56.5mn b/d in 2014 but a downward revision of 1mn b/d compared with last year’s WOO.
