India refinery runs rebound in February

Crude throughput at Indian refiners hit 4.7mn b/d in February, up by 3.2pc from a year earlier after four months of consecutive falls. Refinery runs were 2.2pc short of a state-set target but rose from 4.43mn b/d in January. Crude throughput in April- February, the first 11 months of India’s 2013-14 fiscal year, rose by 1.5pc compared with a year earlier to 4.46mn b/d but 0.2pc short of targets, according to oil ministry data.
