From 1Q93 onwards, prices refer to the weekly averages of the quarter. From 1Q86 to 4Q92, prices refer to the second month of the quarter. From 1Q83 to 4Q86, prices refer to the first month of the quarter. Prior to 1Q83, prices are quarterly averages. See individual products for details. Annual averages for oil and electricity are final and represent the official Norwegian statistics. Quarterly prices are provisional. General Tax (VAT): VAT is not included in prices and taxes shown for industry and automotive diesel for commercial purposes because it is refunded.
