The end-use prices for Latin American countries were extracted in November 2005 from the OLADE Energy-Economic Information System of Latin America and the Caribbean (SIEE database), developed in cooperation with the European Commission. This database contains historical information on prices, reserves, energy supply/demand, energy installations, general economic statistics, environmental statistics and indicators for Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Surinam, Trinidad/Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela. End-use prices in both U.S. dollars and national currencies are given on a monthly basis since 1988 and on an annual basis since 1970. In addition, some forecasted series are also available.
