From 1Q93 onwards, quarterly prices refer to the average of the three mid-month prices. From 1Q85 to 4Q92, prices refer to the second month of each quarter. VAT is not included in prices and taxes shown for industry, electricity generation and automotive diesel (for commercial use) because it is refunded. Climate Change Levy: From April 2001 onwards, this levy is payable by industrial consumers of gas, electricity, coal, coke and LPG.
