It is a real privilege when, as agronomists, we receive an invitation each year to attend the annual ceremony for the STRI Environmental Awards. The evening is of one of those times in the year when you are humbled to be in a room with passionate andenthusiastic turf professionals who understand that golf course management is not just about the production of good playing surfaces but also the management of the wider landscape.
