For 130 million,Flexpipe Systems Inc.,a privately owned Calgary-based manufacturer of flexible composite pipeline products,agreed to be sold to a larger competitor,ShawCor Ltd.of Toronto,it was announced in late May.Flexpipe is a leading manufacturer of spoolable composite line pipe used by oil and gas producers in applications that benefit from the product's ease and speed of installation as well as its pressure and corrosion resistance capabilities.
