For 7 billion,TransCanada Corporation and ConocoPhillips Company are expanding their Keystone crude oil pipeline system from Western Canada to the United States Gulf Coast to add 500,000 barrels a day in 2012.When completed,the expansion will increase the commercial design of the Keystone Pipeline system from 590,000 b/d to approximately 1.1 million b/d and result in a total capital investment of about 12.2 billion(U.S.].
