From 1 January 1995 onwards, the Polish currency was denominated (1 new Zloty = 10 000 old Zlotys). All prices and taxes are shown in new Zlotys. General Tax (VAT): VAT is not included in prices shown for industry, electricity generation and automotive diesel oil because it is refunded on purchases for commercial purposes.
