BHMHHHnflH ritain is surrounded by water, but we seldom see the diversity of life below the surface. Habitats include cold-water corals, vivid-green eelgrass meadows that waft on a submarine breeze, and beds of seaweed with hard, chalky skeletons that take hundreds of years to reach the size of apples. Under the water, creatures familiar on land assume new personalities: puffins fly after prey on hydrofoil wings, and seals perform exuberant loops in forests of kelp.
